List of products and goods in the field of information and communication technology that are potentially unsafe

Issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications at the end of May, Circular 04 stipulates the List of products and goods that are potentially unsafe (List of products and goods in group 2) under the management of the Ministry of Information and Communications and the principles for managing products and goods in this group. The Circular only applies to products and goods with HS codes and product descriptions specified in the List of products and goods in group 2.

The list of products and goods in group 2 includes the list of specialized products and goods in the Information Technology and Communications (ICT) sector that require conformity certification and conformity declaration; the list of specialized ICT products and goods that require conformity declaration.

The list of specialized ICT products and goods that must be declared to be in conformity includes devices such as: Desktop personal computers, laptops, tablets; DVB-S/S2 satellite digital television signal decoding devices; digital cable television signal decoding devices; television receivers with integrated DVB-T2 terrestrial digital television signal receiving function (iDTV); digital microwave devices...

The list of products and goods in group 2 will be reviewed, revised and supplemented by the Ministry of Information and Communications from time to time, in accordance with the State's management policy.

Also in Circular 04, the Ministry of Information and Communications clearly stipulates the principles for managing products and goods in group 2. Accordingly, the quality management of products and goods in the List of products and goods in group 2 is carried out according to the regulations of the Ministry of Information and Communications on conformity certification, conformity declaration and quality inspection of specialized ICT products and goods and corresponding technical regulations.
