In order to effectively carry out the voting for typical rural industrial products in the Central Highlands region in 2024, the Voting Council (chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a working group to assess the actual production at a number of establishments in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri provinces with products registered for voting.
In Thua Thien Hue province, the working group assessed the actual production of products at 6 rural industrial establishments, including: Bao La Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative; HICHAGOL Production, Trade and Service Company Limited; Kim Vui Essential Oil Production Company Limited; Hoa Nen Essential Oil Production Company Limited; Tan Nguyen Clean Incense Company Limited; Phu Loc Vegetarian Food Business Household.

In Quang Tri province, the delegation visited and assessed the actual production of products at 5 rural industrial establishments, including: Truong Son Agarwood Business Household; Quang Tri Herbal Medicine Co., Ltd.; Truong Son Medicinal Materials Cooperative; Vena Wine Import-Export and Production Co., Ltd.; Tran Lan Clean Agricultural Products Production and Trading Co., Ltd.
At rural industrial establishments, the Working Group was introduced to the production process and viewed the products registered for voting. At the same time, they reviewed and compared the information provided in the registration documents with actual information at the establishments, including: Information on economics, technology, society, culture, aesthetics; certificates on food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, environmental protection; self-declared quality records; discussed the contents on the implementation of social responsibilities, regimes with employees and obligations to pay the State budget... of rural industrial establishments.
Through review and assessment of the reality, the Working Group suggested that the facility should research and further improve production stages, focus on fire prevention and fighting, and pay more attention to environmental protection, employee policies, etc. for sustainable development.
Information from actual production at the facilities combined with information in the registration file for voting helps the Voting Council to perceive and evaluate more accurately and objectively the products registered to participate in the vote for typical rural industrial products in the Central Highlands region in 2024.
Along with the content of voting for typical rural industrial products, the Industry and Trade Conference and the Industrial Promotion Conference are a series of 3 outstanding activities of the Industry and Trade sector held annually in 3 regions: North, Central and South.
This year's series of events for the Industry and Trade sector in the Central Highlands region will be held in Quang Tri province. These events are expected to continue to be a place for localities to review and re-evaluate the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector in the region in 2023 and the first half of 2024. At the same time, they will point out the difficulties and obstacles they are facing and discuss solutions to overcome them.
The events are also expected to be a place for businesses to meet, exchange needs and seek partners to promote products and expand production and business.
