On the afternoon of June 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province held a conference to evaluate the coordination between the provincial Fatherland Front and local news agencies and press.
Attending the conference were Comrade Giang Seo Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Department of Information and Communications; representatives of leaders and reporters of central and local news agencies and newspapers located in the province.
According to the evaluation report at the conference, over the past year, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has always received attention, support, facilitation, and coordination from central and local press agencies in the work of propagating and mobilizing people to participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, thereby bringing about practical results.
In particular, thanks to the close coordination of press agencies, the participation of the entire political system in taking care of social security issues, especially taking care of the poor, the disadvantaged and coordinating care for policy families; propagating and mobilizing people to join the Front in Party and government building and social supervision and criticism; participating in the fight against corruption and waste; practicing democracy at the grassroots level, actively participating in organizing and mobilizing people to successfully carry out the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the election of deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term...
At the conference, representatives of central and local news agencies and press agencies evaluated and clarified the results of coordination in propaganda activities... At the same time, they hoped that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province would continue to pay attention so that the team of reporters could work smoothly and complete their assigned tasks well; discuss and orient the upcoming work tasks to meet the requirements of the new situation.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Giang Seo Van, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, thanked the cooperation of news agencies and press with the Fatherland Front at all levels in the past time. At the same time, he hoped to continue to receive the attention, sharing and companionship of reporters, central news agencies and press agencies stationed in Lao Cai and the provincial press agencies to continue to accompany the Fatherland Front at all levels in the coming time; to propagate the results of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the commune and district levels; the preparation work for the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress; to provide a lot of information and press products with positive content to spread the province's major policies and decisions to create consensus among the people...
