Focus on party development for outstanding union members

Looking back at the half-term of the 16th Hung Ha District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, the work of Party organization and building has focused on leadership, direction, improving the fighting capacity of Party organizations, building Party organizations that are truly political nuclei. Continue to implement the principle of democratic centralism well. Pay attention to building and developing Party organizations in enterprises. Well implement, exploit and use the software "Electronic Party Member Handbook" to select 21 grassroots Party cells to build model Party cells.

In particular, Hung Ha District Party Committee has issued Plan No. 99 dated November 16, 2022 on organizing awareness training about the Party and developing Party members for outstanding youth union members studying in high schools in Hung Ha district. In less than two years of implementing Plan 99 of Hung Ha District Party Committee, 731 outstanding students from high schools (accounting for nearly 51%) out of a total of nearly 1,440 outstanding masses in the whole district have been trained in awareness about the Party. Two students, Nguyen Khanh Linh, class 12A2, Hung Nhan High School, and Dinh Thanh Dat, class 12A1, Bac Duyen Ha High School, were admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam when they turned 18 years old.

Talking about the work of developing the party for outstanding union members who are high school students in the spirit of Resolution 05 of the Executive Committee of the Hung Ha District Party Committee, Master Bui Thi Nguyet, principal and Party cell secretary of Hung Nhan High School, said that this is really a new and correct policy in the work of developing the party of the Hung Ha District Party Committee. Immediately after Resolution 05 of the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee was issued and thoroughly implemented in the grassroots Party cells, the Party cell of Hung Nhan High School also fundamentally changed the content of regular activities. Party cell meetings are arranged on the third day of the first month and not later than the fifth day of each month. Party cell meetings are no longer to evaluate the results of reviewing Party work, professional work in the month, and deploying tasks for the next month. Every meeting of the Party cell also spends a lot of time discussing the work of developing the party for the masses who are outstanding union members of grade 12. Teachers who are party members and also homeroom teachers of grade 12 are assigned by the Party cell to take responsibility. Always help the masses who are excellent students in studying and in social activities skills, with the members who strive well in the classes where the homeroom teacher is not a party member, the assignment to help the members will be given to the subject teacher who is a party member and each source of excellent masses must ensure that there are at least two party members who regularly help.

Regarding the case of outstanding student union member Nguyen Khanh Linh who was admitted to the Party in the 2023 school year, Party cell secretary Bui Thi Nguyet said: “Nguyen Khanh Linh is a student of the school in the 2020-2023 school year. She has been the class monitor for three consecutive years of the school's gifted class and is a member of the school's Youth Union Executive Committee. Linh is not only a student with excellent academic results, but she is also a dynamic union cadre, always promoting exemplary pioneering qualities in studying and in social activities, truly an exemplary nucleus loved by teachers and respected by friends. When the Party cell prepared the documents and procedures to request superiors to approve Nguyen Khanh Linh's admission to the Party, it received the consensus of 43 Party members in the Party cell, 65 teachers in the school, the School Youth Union, the trade union organization and the trust of over 1,700 students in all three grades”.

Higher responsibility for Party building work in school party cells

Admitting Nguyen Khanh Linh to the Party also creates more motivation for all teachers who are not currently Party members and students in the whole school to strive to practice. Party cell secretary Bui Thi Nguyet further affirmed that Resolution 05 of the District Party Committee Executive Committee has also added orientation for the school Party cell to have a resolution on educating revolutionary ideals and ethics for students. The practical and rich Party cell activities promote the movement of good teachers and good students. Promote the activities of the school's Youth Union and social skills activities, sowing the seeds of revolutionary ideals for the younger generation. The Resolution of the Party cell of Hung Nhan High School also stated the determination to strive to train and admit one Party member each year from a 12th grade student.

Also talking about the implementation of Resolution 05 of the Party Executive Committee of Hung Ha district, teacher Nguyen Le Hai - Vice Principal, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of Bac Duyen Ha High School affirmed: " The most fundamental and practical change in the school's Party Cell is that Party members have more orientation and clearly understand the role of the high school Party Cell, not only teaching words and people but also having the responsibility to discover and foster new sources of Party member development for students, this has never been discussed in many previous courses. Now, homeroom teachers and each Party member are assigned more specific tasks and higher responsibilities for Party building work in the school Party Cell".

Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell Nguyen Le Hai also gave a specific example that in the 2023 school year, the Party Cell of Bac Duyen Ha High School admitted student Dinh Thanh Dat to the Party. Without the open direction from Resolution 05 of the District Party Committee, the Party Cell could not have carried out this task. Dinh Thanh Dat is a student with comprehensive academic and training results, serving as the Secretary of the Youth Union for three years of study. He is outstanding not only in his academic results but also in his true capacity as a dynamic Youth Union leader with many creative activities in Youth Union activities, enthusiastically participating in the movement of three good students, the movement to support the exam season, and has been awarded a certificate of merit by the Department of Education and Training, the District Youth Union, and the Provincial Youth Union for his academic achievements and Youth Union activities.

Just like the Party cell of Hung Nhan High School, this school year, Bac Duyen Ha High School welcomed 585 students, of which 155 students had entrance exam scores of 40 points or higher. Together with current students with excellent academic results and active and dynamic Youth Union cadres, this is a quality reserve source for the school's Party cell to nurture and discover sources for the Party in the following years. The target of having at least one 12th grade student admitted to the Party at the end of each school year will be a reality.

Head of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Bui Xuan Phong, affirmed: Resolution 06 of the Hung Ha District Party Committee has truly approached Conclusion 51 of the Central Party Committee's Secretariat on education work, focusing on education in Morality, Intelligence, Fitness, Aesthetics, and Vocational Skills. The important thing is that Resolution 05 has suggested directions, methods, and mechanisms to ensure that the resolution is put into practice. Party cells of schools in the whole district, especially high school Party cells, have had specialized resolutions, regular Party cell meetings, and rich meeting content. Party members who are homeroom teachers and subject teachers are assigned specific tasks by the Party cells to be in charge of specific tasks, especially the task of monitoring and helping the masses who are outstanding union members to introduce to the Party.
