The Party Committee of the General Department of Engineering summarizes 12 years of implementing Directive 124

Implementing Directive 124 in conjunction with the implementation of the Project, Party committees and commanders at all levels in the TCKT have led and directed the effective implementation of innovation in the content of general education in line with the set goals and requirements. Agencies and units in the TCKT have reviewed and adjusted the annual basic education program and content to suit each subject; combined thematic education with continuing education, general education with specific education; linked basic theoretical education with application to the tasks of agencies, units, responsibilities and tasks of soldiers, defense workers and employees.

Forms of inspection, re-inspection, and evaluation of the results of political education have been flexibly applied in each type of agency and unit, ensuring that they are close to reality, practical, and appropriate. The number of people participating in the training is always guaranteed to be 98% or more. The average annual political awareness test results: 100% meet the requirements or higher, 85.7% are good and excellent (35.9% are excellent). Particularly for cadres managed by the General Department, 100% meet the requirements or higher; 98.36% are good and excellent (58.45% are excellent); the average annual political awareness test results of new soldiers are 100% meet the requirements or higher; 76.79% are good and excellent (47.5% are excellent).

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Hung requested: Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the contents of Directive 124, the Project "Innovation of political education work at units in the new period"; Regulations on political education at units; Resolution No. 248 of the Party Committee of the General Department on strengthening leadership to improve the quality of political education at units in the new period. Grasp the contents and annual political education programs of the General Department of Politics, determine the content of political education in accordance with the requirements and tasks of the unit, flexibly apply and effectively combine forms of political education; effectively exploit and use funds, facilities, equipment and cultural institutions at grassroots units, contributing to improving the quality of implementation of the Directive and Project, meeting the requirements of political education work in the new situation.
