Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet commended the achievements and results that the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command have achieved in 2024; at the same time, he requested the Military Region 4 Party Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp and resolutely and effectively implement resolutions, strategies, projects, and laws on military and national defense, the Civil Defense Law, and Resolution of the 13th Central Committee on the Strategy for Homeland Protection in the new situation; determine leadership policies and measures that are close to the characteristics of the situation and tasks of the Military Region and the practical situation of the provinces and cities in the area. Strictly maintain the combat readiness regime; perform well the state management function on national defense, build the national defense posture and defense works; proactively coordinate closely with the forces stationed in the area to grasp the situation; prepare well plans, forces, and means, and promptly handle situations.
