On the morning of July 12, the Vu Thu District Party Committee held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Thu Vu Party Cell (1929 - 2024). Thu Vu Party Cell (Thu Tri - Vu Tien), the predecessor of the present Vu Thu District Party Committee, was established in July 1929 in Cau Da hamlet, Hoi Khe village, Vu Hoi commune, and is one of the first 6 Party cells established in Thai Binh province. Over the past 95 years of establishment, growth and continuous development, Vu Thu District Party Committee has always promoted its core role in gathering and leading all classes of people, together with the army and people of the whole country to defeat all invaders, protect and build the Fatherland. Up to now, Vu Thu District Party Committee has 48 grassroots Party organizations, with nearly 10,000 Party members. In recent years, Vu Thu District Party Committee has comprehensively led in the fields of socio-economic development, ensuring national security and defense. In particular, in leading the construction of new rural areas (NTM), the district reached the NTM target in 2019, currently there are 2 communes achieving advanced NTM. The appearance of Vu Thu countryside is increasingly spacious, synchronous and modern; the material and spiritual life of the people is clearly improved.
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious and proud 95-year history of the Vu Thu District Party Committee. Representatives of generations of cadres and party members expressed their gratitude for the contributions of previous cadres and party members and vowed to continue their efforts to contribute to building an increasingly clean and strong District Party Committee.
