Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Van Pho said that currently, the Department of Finance has guided agencies and organizations to conduct a general inventory of public assets at units and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State. The inventory period is from January 1 to March 31, 2025.
The Department of Finance has provided accounts, passwords, sent video clips with instructions on logging in and entering data for public asset inventory reports for agencies and organizations in the province.
The general inventory of assets is a form for the Provincial People's Committee to grasp the status of public assets and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State. This is also the basis for Dak Nong province to report to the Ministry of Finance and competent authorities to complete policies and laws on management and use of public assets.
Proper implementation of inventory procedures helps organizations and units comply with legal regulations on public asset management and avoid violations of the law.
The inventory process helps units assess the level of use of existing assets, from which they can propose measures to exploit and use assets in a reasonable and economical manner.
Through inventory, units discover damaged, expired assets that are no longer suitable for work requirements. From there, units propose measures to repair, replace, and remove assets that have no use value, contributing to improving work efficiency.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Van Pho, in order to effectively carry out the general inventory of public assets, the unit has advised the Provincial People's Committee to establish a Steering Committee for the Inventory of Public Assets.
The Department of Finance has advised the Head of the Steering Committee for Public Asset Inventory to issue a plan to implement the Project for general inventory of public assets at agencies and units.
Dak Nong currently has 1,431 houses and land. Of these, 1,386 are retained for use; 4 are temporarily retained for continued use; 7 have been revoked; 30 are selling assets on land and transferring land use rights; 7 are transferring to local authorities for management and handling; 1 is transferring. Through a recent review, out of a total of 30 facilities selling assets on land and transferring land use rights, the units have completed the auction and transfer of 14 facilities. The remaining 16 facilities are still unable to sell and change their purpose of use.
