(QNO) - On the afternoon of June 19, Quang Nam Radio and Television Station (QRT) held a conference to review radio and television broadcasting work in the first 6 months of the year, celebrate the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023) and put into operation the film studio project with audience (phase 1).
Attending the conference were Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vo Xuan Ca; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board Nguyen Chin; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Board Nguyen Thi Thu Lan; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board Huynh Thi Thi Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu.
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Mai Van Tu - Director, Editor-in-Chief of QRT said that in the first 6 months of the year, QRT closely followed the orientation and well propagated the political tasks of the locality. Thereby contributing to creating trust and consensus among the people; well meeting the information needs of the public.
Outstanding tasks that QRT has well implemented include promoting and broadcasting live the activities of Quang Nam Cultural Days in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023; organizing the production of historical documentaries, implementing the documentary film "Quang Rivers"; coordinating with departments and localities to successfully organize the 26th Traditional Radio - Television Boat Race...
In the face of financial difficulties, QRT continues to organize iconic game shows such as "My Hometown of Quang Nam", "Talented Quang Nam Team Members"... The station's press products are increasingly improved in both content and form, imbued with the identity of Quang Nam, and are recognized and highly appreciated by agencies and units inside and outside the province.
In particular, in the past 6 months, many press works of QRT staff, reporters, and editors have won high awards such as: B prize of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award organized by the Central Party Organizing Committee, silver medal of the 41st National Television Festival, C prize of the 2023 National Press Award...
For two consecutive years 2021 and 2022, QRT led the Provincial Public Service Units Block, leading the Emulation Cluster III of the Provincial Staff Block.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu praised and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and efforts to achieve outstanding results of QRT. At the same time, he hoped that leaders, reporters, editors and employees of QRT would promote the achieved results, continue to do a good job of information and propaganda on socio-economic achievements, commend good people and good deeds, typical examples, spread Quang Nam products... Thereby contributing to building Quang Nam more and more civilized and prosperous.
Authorized by the Prime Minister, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to QRT; awarded the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas and journalist Duong Nu Hoang Anh - Head of the Department of Radio and Electronic Information. QRT leaders also commended and rewarded authors and groups of authors with high achievements in recent competitions.
On this occasion, QRT introduced and put into operation the project of a film studio with an audience (phase 1). This is the film studio with the largest audience capacity in the system of stations in the Central - Central Highlands region with 500 seats.
