Speaking at the Vietnam Journalists Association, the head of the delegation, Mr. Le Hong Son - Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, on behalf of the delegation, sent greetings to the press force on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023).

Appreciating the great efforts and contributions from the press force, in which the Vietnam Journalists Association is a unit like a compass, Mr. Le Hong Son expressed his gratitude to the press force in general and the Vietnam Journalists Association in particular for standing side by side, closely coordinating with the city to maintain the work on the ideological and cultural front.

Mr. Le Hong Son - Member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee sent his greetings to the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department expressed his wish to continue to closely coordinate with the Journalists Association in the future to promote the strength and important tasks required by the leadership. Thereby, promoting the press team to participate in propaganda and contribute opinions on the city's development policies and guidelines. Especially when the National Assembly will soon consider passing a Resolution to replace Resolution 54.

Welcoming the delegation, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Mr. Tran Trong Dung expressed his gratitude and the attention of the Ho Chi Minh City leaders to the press team in general and the Journalists Association in particular.

According to Mr. Tran Trong Dung, in the past time, the Vietnam Journalists Association Southern Representative Office has also made efforts to carry out a number of activities, creating a connection between local press and central press. Specifically, these are the press awards for writing about the Mekong Delta, the press awards for writing about the Southeast, the press awards for writing about the Central region and the upcoming press awards for writing about the Central Highlands. From there, a regional playground for reporters and journalists in the region was created.

In addition, recently, the Vietnam Journalists Association has also organized many other activities such as the Journalists' Book Week held at the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, in coordination with the Vietnam Publishing Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association and Thanh Nien Newspaper.

The Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association also expressed his wish to continue receiving the city's support for the team of journalists, especially the very favorable coordination with the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in the coming time.
