Hanoi Radio launches digital version for FM 96 Mhz radio channel

The new version of FM Channel 96, broadcast from January 1, 2024, is defined as the official radio channel of Hanoi Capital with the name: News and music.

The launch ceremony of the digital version of FM Channel 96 will be held on January 16. Listeners can listen to FM96 on Hanoi Radio's digital platforms: App HA NOI ON, website Hanoionline.vn.

Along with television and developing digital platforms, in recent years, Hanoi Radio has also focused on innovating radio channels to reach out more closely and cover a wider audience.

FM 96 radio channel has a strong Hanoi character when using the song "Nguoi Ha Noi" by Nguyen Dinh Thi as the theme song and the song "Tien ve Ha Noi" by Van Cao as the opening music of the radio day.

Explaining this choice, journalist Bui Thi Phuong Dong, Head of the Music Department, Hanoi Radio Center, affirmed that both works above have a long-lasting vitality, lasting over time. Musician Van Cao and musician Nguyen Dinh Thi are also two great musicians of the nation with great and immortal works.

The channel targets the capital's public and Vietnamese people (including Vietnamese living abroad) with a broadcast time of 18 hours per day, from 5:00 to 23:00.

News is life

The channel's news time slots include: Morning news (5:30), Noon news (11:30), Afternoon news (18:00); along with a system of specialized 5-minute news bulletins at the beginning of the hour, 15-minute summary news bulletins (9:00, 15:00 and 21:00). In which, Hanoi Radio Commentary is a new product, promising to be different, included in the daily 5:30 am and 18:00 pm news program. The information will be continuously updated, concisely edited, presented in an easy-to-understand and attractive manner, ensuring the criteria: Hanoi Radio News - News is life.

The programs Noon News (11:30) and Afternoon News (18:00) are 60 minutes long each, presented in a news and music style. Accordingly, music is used flexibly in the program to help listeners receive information in a gentle way, expressing the elegant and gallant culture of Hanoi people.

Music time slots are built on a fixed basis, according to each theme, with its own nuances, bearing a personal mark, to create habits and attract listeners. Listeners can enjoy classical, symphonic, and chamber music through music programs such as: Hanoi Radio Concert.
