On the morning of October 7, Ms. Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh Province, had a meeting with voters of Dong Trieu Town before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Also attending the meeting were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and sectors of the province.

At the meeting, delegate Do Thi Lan informed voters of the expected agenda of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly and issues related to the session; the results of handling and responding to voters' petitions sent to the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, at the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, it is expected to consider and pass 11 draft laws, give initial opinions on 12 draft laws, and at the same time consider and decide on socio-economic issues and a number of other important contents.
After informing about the content of the meeting, delegate Do Thi Lan took the time to listen to voters of Dong Trieu town give their opinions, express their thoughts and aspirations on a number of issues such as the need to pay attention to investing in funds to renovate and embellish the historical relic and scenic complex of Yen Duc, Yen Duc commune, which has degraded to match its value; the need to decentralize the approval of investment, renovation and embellishment of historical relics at the national and special national levels; consider tax policies on input materials in agricultural production to reduce costs...
Delegate Do Thi Lan directly responded to the opinions and recommendations of voters under her authority, and promised to forward the opinions of voters of Dong Trieu town to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly scheduled to open on October 21.
