Implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2023 in the city, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Da Nang City has just coordinated with the World Relief Organization - Australia (AOGWR) and the People's Committee of Hoa Vang district to deploy the Nutrition Program for children of poor and near-poor households in Hoa Vang district in 2023.
The nutrition program supports 177 malnourished children from 140 poor and near-poor households in the area. Accordingly, each day, children will be given a box of 180ml sterilized fresh milk, to drink at home for 3 consecutive months (equivalent to 90 boxes/child) to enhance nutrition, improve physical condition and health for children from poor and near-poor households.

The nutrition program continues to support a portion of resources to enhance nutrition, improve the health and physical condition of children in poor and near-poor households, thereby contributing to reducing the rate of malnourished children in poor and near-poor households in Hoa Vang district.
