Student Nguyen Thi Hoa Mi - Hanoi National University of Education is honored to be the only representative of Ha Tinh province to be honored at the 10th ceremony to honor outstanding and outstanding ethnic minority students and youth in 2023.
On the evening of December 26, in Hanoi, the Ethnic Committee chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training and the Central Youth Union to organize a ceremony to honor outstanding and exemplary ethnic minority students and youth in 2023.
The program honored 143 ethnic minority students and youth from 51 ethnic groups in 50 localities for their outstanding achievements in 2023. This is the 10th year the program has been organized, with 1,317 ethnic minority students and youth being honored.

At the 2023 program, Ha Tinh was honored to have 1 student recognized. That is Nguyen Thi Hoa Mi (born 2005), Lao ethnic, former student of Ha Tinh Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, currently a student of Hanoi National University of Education.
Hoa Mi is the eldest of three siblings, her parents are farmers in Quang Tho commune (Vu Quang). While studying at Ha Tinh Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School, Hoa Mi was always an excellent student, actively participating in union and association activities; she was the Secretary of the Youth Union and Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union.

During the 7 years of studying and training at the boarding school, she has always been a good and excellent student; won first prize in the school-level photo contest "Beauty of ethnic minority female students"; received the Vallet scholarship for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years... In the 2023 national high school graduation exam, she was the valedictorian of the C19 group (Literature, History, Civic Education) with 27.25 points and the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography) with 26.25 points. With that result, she was admitted to the Faculty of National Defense and Security, Hanoi National University of Education. Notably, in her final year of high school, Hoa Mi was honored to be admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Hoa Mi shared: "Participating in the recognition program, I had the opportunity to meet, exchange, share, and learn from many students, university students, and ethnic minority youth from all over the country. I am honored to receive a certificate of merit and be recognized as an outstanding ethnic minority student. I will strive to study and practice well, so that after graduation, I will become a good teacher and accompany disadvantaged students to rise up and continue their dreams."
