On November 19, the authorities of Bien Hoa city (Dong Nai) and the People's Committee of Buu Long ward completed the forced eviction of 36 households to reclaim land for the road and embankment project along the Dong Nai river.
Dong Nai riverside road is gradually removing difficulties in terms of land.
Accordingly, the process of enforcing 36 households took place over four days. The authorities enforced and demolished the structures and architectural objects of 36 households located within the land acquisition boundary of the section passing through Buu Long ward.
These are households that have been fully supported, compensated, and resettled by competent authorities when the state reclaims land but refuse to hand over the site.
Among these, there are also some families who asked to dismantle the construction themselves, so the authorities supported the demolition of the construction and the movement of assets and belongings according to the schedule in the enforcement decision.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoang, Director of Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center, after this enforcement, the land area for the road and embankment project along Dong Nai River will reach more than 95% and will complete handover of 100% of the land area to implement the project before November 30.
Having just acquired more land, the Bien Hoa City Project Management Board has requested the construction unit to mobilize vehicles and human resources to focus on construction at the site to soon connect the entire route.
Authorities enforce land acquisition for project.
Mr. Van Quang My, Deputy Director of Bien Hoa City Project Management Board, said that from now until Lunar New Year 2025, the construction of the riverside embankment will be completed. For the riverside road, we will also try to open the route as soon as possible to make it easier for people to travel. However, for the new ground, workers have to clean up, dig up organic waste, and treat the roadbed, so it takes time and is difficult to rush.
According to the reporter's records, at the construction site, machinery and human resources are performing tasks such as rolling the ground, laying asphalt, laying crushed stone, grading crushed stone, installing drainage systems, and embankment railings. Many sections have been embanked and the road has been completed, but due to some houses not yet handed over the land, the entire route is affected.
The Dong Nai riverside road project, over 5km long with a total investment of 1,339 billion VND, started construction at the end of December 2021, and many sections have gradually taken shape. When put into operation, this route will ensure traffic from Bien Hoa to Vinh Cuu and some other localities, creating a beautiful and prominent landscape for the inner city of Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
