The emulation cluster of the Journalists Association of the Northwest mountainous provinces has 6 units including Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc. Over the years, the Journalists Association of the Northwest mountainous provinces has always received timely attention and direction from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Party committees and local authorities.
The role of the association has always been affirmed, contributing together with the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the 6 Northwestern mountainous provinces to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, Party building and political system building in the localities.

Localities have continued to promote the implementation of Directive 43-CT/TW dated April 8, 2020 of the Secretariat on "Strengthening the Party's leadership over the activities of the Vietnam Journalists Association in the new situation"; creating a strong change in the quality of the Association's activities.
Continue to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the education of professional ethics for journalists, which is concretized in the emulation to create a cultural press agency and the culture of journalists. Focus on improving the quality of journalistic works, in which attention is paid to the selection of works to participate in competitions, press awards and the National Press Award.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Bang, Chairman of Vinh Phuc Journalists Association, said that in recent times, the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Associations of the Northwest mountainous provinces has actively responded to emulation movements; proactively innovated emulation and reward work.
Launched and organized effective implementation of patriotic emulation movements in the Competition Cluster following Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation and achieved important results, contributing to the successful completion of assigned functions and tasks.
Attending the conference were leaders of departments, offices and units of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
In 2023, responding to the emulation movement in the Cluster, from the beginning of the year, the Associations proactively developed plans for emulation and reward work and on the occasions of celebrating major holidays and important events of the country and the province, the Associations launched emulation movements to branches and journalist members.
The emulation cluster has well organized the registration and signing of emulation agreements between units in the cluster, focused on monitoring, checking, summarizing emulation movements, and done a good job of evaluating and proposing worthy forms of rewards for groups and individuals with many outstanding achievements.
Leaders of local Journalists Associations shared experiences in improving the quality of local Journalists Association activities in the coming time.
The good organization of emulation and reward work and emulation movements launched during the year have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, truly a driving force for the development of Associations in the Cluster, making an important contribution to the implementation of political tasks of localities and the general emulation movement of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the press nationwide.
Unifying some contents in 2024, the Emulation Cluster of the Journalists Association of the Northwest mountainous provinces will continue to pay attention to training and fostering politics and professional skills; educating and improving the professional ethics of journalists associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; promoting the work of building the association organization; regularly maintaining emulation and reward work; implementing cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities in the press community and exchanging learning experiences between member associations in the emulation cluster.
Delegates unanimously approved a number of important contents.

At the conference, delegates watched a report on the construction of a model cultural village in Vinh Phuc province and focused on discussing and exchanging experiences to improve the effectiveness of the local Journalists Association.
Members of the cluster voted for Vinh Phuc Journalists Association to receive the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam Journalists Association; Tuyen Quang Journalists Association and Yen Bai Journalists Association to receive Certificates of Merit of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Vinh Phuc Journalists Association handed over the role of Head of the Emulation Cluster of Journalists Association of the Northwestern mountainous provinces to Tuyen Quang Provincial Journalists Association.
At the same time, through the content of the emulation agreement signed in 2024; Vinh Phuc Journalists Association handed over the role of Head of the Emulation Cluster of the Journalists Association of the Northwestern mountainous provinces to the Journalists Association of Tuyen Quang province.
