Emulation cluster of Red River Delta provinces signed emulation agreement in 2024

On the morning of March 13, in Thai Binh city, the emulation cluster of the Red River Delta provinces held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2023 and sign the emulation agreement for 2024. Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation Council; Lai Van Hoan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Central Emulation Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committees and the Emulation Councils of the provinces in the cluster.

Units in the cluster signed a competition covenant in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Economic Emulation Council affirmed: In 2023, the provinces in the cluster have synchronously implemented many measures to promote economic growth. On the basis of clearly identifying key tasks, drastic direction and management, together with the efforts of all levels, sectors, people and the business community, the emulation movement and commendation work of the provinces in the cluster have achieved many positive results. The socio-economy of the provinces continues to develop comprehensively, harmoniously combining the focus on breakthroughs with a strategic vision towards sustainable development. The average economic growth rate of the provinces in the cluster is 6.3%, higher than the average economic growth of the whole country; the average income per capita in 2023 reaches 103 million VND; the state budget revenue reaches 235,028 billion VND; Total social investment capital reached 547,526 billion VND. By the end of 2023, the entire cluster had 571 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 138 communes meeting model new rural standards. The cultural and social fields were directed comprehensively and in depth; the political security situation and social order and safety in the provinces were stable and maintained.

To continue to effectively implement the emulation movement and reward work in 2024, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council requested the conference to focus on assessing the advantages and difficulties in the implementation process; pointing out the existing causes and limitations to propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of emulation and reward work in the coming time.

The report at the conference showed that: The patriotic emulation movement of the emulation cluster of the Red River Delta provinces in 2023 has been deployed with specific content and criteria, closely following the political tasks, in accordance with the practical situation of the locality. The system of legal documents on emulation and rewards has been completed; the apparatus for emulation and rewards at all levels has been consolidated and improved... The reward work, especially the extraordinary reward work, has received due attention and has the effect of setting an example, the rate of direct reward for workers has been raised, contributing to motivating and setting an example for advanced models, good people, good deeds. The results of the emulation movements and reward work have contributed positively to the successful completion of the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, maintaining political security, and ensuring social order and safety of the province.

The conference also organized a program to exchange advanced models, approved the results of scoring and awarding in 2023, and proposed that the Prime Minister award the emulation flag to Nam Dinh province and the Prime Minister's certificate of merit to Hung Yen and Quang Ninh provinces.
