In 2023, the hydrometeorological situation of Ban Ve Lake basin is not good, the water flow to the lake in the first months of the year is low. In the first six months of 2023, the water flow is lower than the average of many years and lower than the water flow in the same period in 2022. At the end of June, the water level of the lake is approaching the dead water level, so the power plant generates moderately. In the last months of the year, the water flow to the lake is good, but the plant is limited in mobilization, affecting electricity output.

Over the past year, Ban Ve Hydropower Company has always accompanied the locality to do well in social security work, joining hands for the community. In 2023 alone, the Company spent more than 3 billion VND on activities such as: Supporting houses for the poor, building schools, supportingeducation , organizing visits and giving gifts to policy families on July 27, releasing fish fry to regenerate aquatic resources, improving livelihoods for people living in Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir, organizing Tet For The Poor program, organizing Mid-Autumn Festival program for poor children in mountainous areas of Tuong Duong, Thanh Chuong...

The leaders of Power Generation Corporation 1 have given many important directions with specific solutions to guide the strategic development of the entire Company in the coming time.

Based on the results achieved in 2023, the key task of 2024, Ban Ve Hydropower Company strives to complete the 2024 electricity output plan. Ensure water supply for downstream areas during the dry season and regulate and reduce floods during the flood season; carry out flood and storm prevention work, regulate reservoirs in accordance with the regulations of the Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir operation process and the inter-reservoir process on the Ca River basin...

Operate generators stably and safely, without any incidents or unsafety due to subjective reasons. Achieve assigned technical indicators on maintenance shutdown rate, availability factor, no incidents, flood season shutdown rate = 0. Participate effectively in the electricity market. Ensure proper and full compliance with electrical safety procedures and other relevant regulations. Implement major repair plans during the year to ensure progress and quality. Continue to promote self-managed maintenance to improve the availability factor of generators, especially during the flood season.

The collective unit was assessed by the Emulation and Reward Council of Power Generation Corporation 1 as having excellently completed its tasks and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by Vietnam Electricity Group.
