On the afternoon of August 3, in Ha Long City, Ha Long Shipbuilding Company held the launching ceremony of a 45,000 DWT cargo ship, design code VB45-01, named Truong Minh Dream 05.

The ship has a capacity of 45,000 DWT, is a double-bottom, single-side bulk carrier, driven by a diesel engine and a single propeller. The ship has very high technical and operational requirements, meeting all requirements of the standards for building new steel-hulled ships. The construction process is closely supervised by the Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry Joint Stock Company and Lloyds Register. The ship has a maximum length of 185 m; width of 31 m; side height of 16 m.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Ha Long Shipbuilding Company and the representative of the ship owner, the investor Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry Company, conducted the traditional launching ceremony. The launching took place safely and on time. Speaking at the ceremony, the representative of Ha Long Shipbuilding Company pledged to continue completing all construction items to ensure progress and quality for handover to the investor Dong Bac Shipbuilding Industry Company in accordance with the contract.
