On the afternoon of October 19, Binh Phuoc Club defeated Ho Chi Minh City Youth Team with a score of 1-0 in the National Cup qualifying round. Cong Phuong played the hero role when he scored the only goal in his debut match for the new team. This goal helped Binh Phuoc Club enter the round of 16 and will face HAGL. This match is scheduled to take place at 5:00 p.m. on January 12, 2025 at Pleiku Stadium.
Cong Phuong shared: "At this time, I don't know what to say about the match with HAGL. I just think it will be a beautiful memory because I will face the team where I started my career. I will try my best to show myself and bring an exciting match to the fans."
Cong Phuong played well in the match against Ho Chi Minh City Youth Team even though he was not in the best physical condition.
