This is an activity in a series of activities to celebrate the annual War Invalids and Martyrs Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to express the gratitude and appreciation of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as all officers and employees of the Ministry to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of war invalids and martyrs who have made great contributions and sacrifices for the homeland and the country.
After more than 2 hours, the delegation arrived at the house of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Tinh in Tran Xa village, Nguyen Ly commune, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam. Mother Tran Thi Tinh is 92 years old this year, her husband and 4 sons were killed in a surprise artillery attack during the war to protect the northern border on the night of February 17, 1979. Mother Tinh has 11 children, 7 of whom are currently living and working in Ha Nam province. Currently, the remains of her husband and 4 children have been gathered at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Nguyen Ly commune.
Sharing with the leaders of the Commune People's Committee and family members at the house of Tran Thi Tinh's mother, Chairman of the Ministry's Trade Union Phan Kieu Thu affirmed that the country, the Vietnamese people, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are always deeply grateful for the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of war invalids and martyrs who sacrificed and made great contributions to the survival of the homeland and country.
Faced with the great loss of Mother Tran Thi Tinh and her family, on behalf of the delegation, President of the Trade Union Phan Kieu Thu shared, encouraged and wished Mother always good health to continue educating her children and grandchildren in the tradition of patriotism, contributing to the common development of the homeland, making the village increasingly modern and prosperous.

The representative of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the work of caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers has always received special attention from the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, considering it a sacred task and a practical gesture to show gratitude to the Mothers, continuing the fine tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of the Vietnamese people as well as the officers and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition to Mother Tran Thi Tinh in Ha Nam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently taking care of the Vietnamese Heroic Mother in Quang Ngai. Union President Phan Kieu Thu said that due to the work program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Union will organize a delegation to visit and wish good health to Mother Trinh Thi Kinh, residing in Tinh Phong commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai on August 3. Mother Trinh Thi Kinh is 86 years old this year, and has a husband and 2 sons who are martyrs.
