The Dakrong broom-making group of disabled people has 23 members, who are disabled or seriously ill, and whose families are in particularly difficult circumstances. In the past, despite their limited health, they still had to struggle every day to find ways to support their families. Since being trained and joining the broom-making group, they have found jobs that are suitable for them.
It is known that broom making is a traditional profession of the Van Kieu and Pa Ko people in the mountainous areas of Quang Tri province, but this profession is currently facing the risk of extinction.

Faced with that reality, the Quang Tri Newspaper Trade Union has implemented the "Broom of Love" Program to support people with disabilities in difficult circumstances, while joining hands to preserve the traditional broom making profession of the Van Kieu people in Dakrong commune.
This is also an opportunity to connect and create new and useful experiential activities for Quang Tri Newspaper Union members; sow and spread the seeds of love among the children of the unit's union members.
