Announcement of decision on organization and personnel of Customs Branch Region II

On behalf of the authorized person, Head of the Department Nguyen Hoang Tuan presented the decision and congratulated the 5 Deputy Heads of the Customs Department of Region II.

At the Conference, the Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 966/QD-BTC dated March 5, 2025 of the Minister of Finance on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Customs Branch of Region II under the Customs Department (Ministry of Finance).

Accordingly, after the reorganization, the Customs Department has 20 affiliated branches nationwide. Of which, the Customs Branch of Region II is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, performing the task of state management of customs in Ho Chi Minh City.

On behalf of the Department, Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan presented the decision and congratulated 16 Department Heads, Team Leaders and equivalents of the Customs Department of Region II.

Conference to announce Decision No. 67/QD-CHQ dated March 5, 2025 of the Director of the Customs Department on the appointment and transfer of the Deputy Director of the Customs Branch of Region II.

Specifically, appointing and temporarily transferring 5 civil servants to the position of Deputy Head of the Customs Sub-Department of Region II, including: Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh, Director of the Hue Customs Department; Mr. Bui Tuan Hai, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Customs Department; Mr. Do Thanh Quang, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department; Mr. Phan Minh Le, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department and Mr. Nguyen Van On, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department. The decision takes effect from March 15, 2025.

The conference also announced Decision 87/QD-CHQ dated March 14, 2025 on the appointment, transfer and appointment of Head of Department, Team Leader and equivalent positions of Customs Branch Region II for 16 civil servants.

The collective leadership of the Customs Branch of Region II congratulates 16 Department Heads, Team Leaders and equivalents of the Customs Branch of Region II.

Previously, on March 7, in Hanoi, the Customs Department held a conference to announce the decision to appoint temporary branch heads and equivalent positions under the Department. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department (General Department of Customs) was appointed to hold the position of Head of the Customs Branch of Region II, starting from March 15, 2025.

At the conference, Director Nguyen Hoang Tuan congratulated the newly mobilized and appointed civil servants, and at the same time, thoroughly grasped the key tasks that need to be implemented to complete the assigned goals and tasks in 2025.
