At the conference, the representative of the Hoi An City Department of Internal Affairs announced the decision to establish 4 agencies and mobilize and appoint leaders of these agencies.

Accordingly, the Department of Internal Affairs was established; Mr. Nguyen Van Tu was appointed as Head of the Department. The Department of Culture, Science and Information was established; Mr. Tong Quoc Hung was appointed as Head of the Department. The Department of Agriculture and Environment was established; Mr. Vuong Quoc Hoa was appointed as Head of the Department. The Department of Economics - Infrastructure and Urban Areas has not yet appointed a Head of the Department.

The conference also announced the decision to dissolve the Hoi An City Rules Inspection Team and transfer the functions of this unit to the Department of Economy - Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Department of Culture, Science and Information; People's Committees of communes and wards.
