Today, August 20, Viettel Telecom Corporation (Viettel Telecom) officially announced the launch of a series of events towards the 20th anniversary of mobile service business (October 15, 2004 - October 15, 2024). Following the success of the Y-Fest 2023 Music Festival on Nguyen Hue Walking Street - Ho Chi Minh City, this year's Y-Fest event series will be held in the three regions of the North - Central - South to express gratitude to customers nationwide, bringing a useful playground for young people. Specifically, Y-Fest 2024 will start in Can Tho City from September 11-15, 2024, in Da Nang City from September 18-22, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City. Y-Fest 2023 music festival on Nguyen Hue walking street attracts tens of thousands of spectators With the consistent message of “Connecting from the heart”, the Y-Fest Concert Tour series in Can Tho, Da Nang and Nghe An will feature the appearance of music stars who are idols among young people (SooBin, Anh Tu, Ha Nhi, Lou Hoang, Phuong My Chi), the organizers also revealed many technology experience activities and attractive gifts for customers.
The highlight of this journey is the 5G technology bus traveling across Vietnam, carrying Viettel Telecom's diverse product ecosystem as well as future 5G technology and service application models. With the motto of focusing on customers, the 5G bus will run roadshows on routes, stopping at universities and public places so that everyone has the opportunity to access and experience products and services applying the most modern technology today.
5G technology ride is the highlight of Y-Fest Concert Tour 2024 Also part of the series of activities towards the 20th anniversary of Viettel's mobile service business, on August 16, 2024, in Hanoi, the Viettel Marathon 2024, coordinated by the Military Industry-Telecoms Group in collaboration with the Asian Athletics Federation, the Athletics Federations of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, officially kicked off. It is expected that about 25,000 Vietnamese and international athletes will participate in 3 races (Luang Prabang - Laos, Siem Reap - Cambodia, Hanoi - Vietnam).
