Kinhtedothi - The event to announce the brand identity, standards and list of Hoan Kiem culinary heritage marks the first achievement of the Project "Developing and promoting Hoan Kiem district's culinary cultural heritage to serve tourism development, by 2025, with a vision to 2030".
On the morning of December 28, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District officially announced the brand identity, the district's culinary heritage standards for tourism and the Community Communication Workshop.
The project "Developing and promoting culinary cultural heritage of Hoan Kiem district to serve tourism development, until 2025, orientation to 2030" was developed and implemented by the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem district in coordination with the Center for Research and Promotion of Cultural Heritage Values.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of Hoan Kiem District People's Committee Pham Tuan Long said that Hoan Kiem District is one of the localities with many delicious dishes, associated with traditional recipes that bring the unique taste of Hanoi people. The project aims to identify values, determine the subjects practicing and transmitting culinary cultural values in Hoan Kiem District; propose measures to support, promote and honor heritage and heritage holders in the direction of highlighting characteristics, building a separate brand, building culinary experience tourism products, connecting with the creative city program project. Through promoting and promoting culinary cultural heritage, Hoan Kiem District will attract more tourists, creating many types of tourism products...
Marking the first achievement of the Project, at the event, the Organizing Committee announced the brand identity, accordingly, the identity design was inspired by the official logo of Hoan Kiem district, conveying the message of convergence and dissemination, developing on the foundation of heritage values, harmoniously combining traditional and modern elements.
With the slogan "Flavors from memories", Hoan Kiem district's cuisine is both a bridge to return to memories and emotions, to family and roots, and to connect the hearts of visitors to Hoan Kiem - Hanoi.
Announcing the set of standards for culinary heritage serving tourism, the Organizing Committee said that the set of standards consists of 3 groups, with a total of 21 evaluation criteria. After the set of standards was approved by the District People's Committee, the District People's Committee established an Evaluation Board to evaluate and score culinary heritage establishments that meet tourism service standards. Next, coordinate with the People's Committees of relevant wards to conduct field surveys and interview the subjects of culinary heritage establishments. Based on the number of points achieved by the establishments, the District People's Committee will assign corresponding stars to those culinary heritage sites.
The criteria for identifying Hoan Kiem culinary cultural heritage establishments are based on factors such as: Representing Hanoi's cultural identity; Containing outstanding knowledge, secrets, experiences, and skills; Having historical value, having elements of transfer, inheritance, and re-creation; Being practiced, having vitality and potential for sustainable tourism development; Having the consent of the subject to participate in the Project... Based on these identification criteria, the Project has currently identified 46 existing culinary cultural heritage establishments in the district.
Within the framework of the program, a workshop on Community Communication took place. This is a forum for the culinary heritage community to share methods and experiences in the process of building and communicating brands; the difficulties and challenges that the community faces. At the same time, it is an opportunity for managers, experts and stakeholders to propose practical solutions to contribute to improving the effectiveness of preserving and sustainably developing Hoan Kiem culinary heritage.
