However, according to a representative of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District, at a recent meeting, the parties agreed that the transformer station relocation project with a relatively large cost would be undertaken and paid for by Hoan Kiem Electricity, so the total cost would also be reduced to about 10-11 billion VND.

According to this person, in addition to the cost of demolishing the building, the cost of restoring the technical infrastructure and renovating the facade of the adjacent building after demolition is also very high.

The total area of the research and planning scope for the renovation of Dong Kinh - Nghia Thuc Square is about 1.2 hectares. The specific scope of the study will be determined during the process of master planning and investment project preparation.

Hanoi plans to relocate many agency headquarters and households to make a square - park on an area of about 2.1 hectares. Below this area will be a tunnel and underground space connecting station C9 of urban railway line No. 2, Nam Thang Long - Tran Hung Dao section.

In addition, Hanoi also requested relevant agencies to inspect and review the current status of land management and use, and review the land fund that can be exploited for public space in the area around King Le Temple and Nam Huong Communal House.
