Provincial Police: 10 department-level leaders and equivalents asked to resign before term

On the afternoon of February 26, Quang Ninh Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the retirement decision for 2 department heads, 08 deputy department heads and deputy district police chiefs. Colonel Tran Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Police, presided over the announcement ceremony.

According to the Decision of the Provincial Police Director, there are 2 department heads who will retire from work and enjoy retirement benefits from March 1, 2025: Colonel Hoang Quoc Van, born in 1969, Head of the Internal Political Security Department and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Son, born in 1968, Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency.

In addition, 8 deputy heads of departments and deputy heads of district-level police voluntarily submitted resignation letters from March 1 to facilitate the restructuring of the organization according to the new model, including: Colonel Le Cong Khanh, born in 1966, Deputy Head of Cam Pha City Police; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Long, born in 1965 and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Bao Tan, born in 1968, Deputy Chief of Office of the Investigation Police Agency; Lieutenant Colonel Le Duc Thang, born in 1966, Deputy Head of Investigation Security Department; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Son, born in 1965 and Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Van Dung, born in 1967, Deputy Head of Mong Cai City Police; Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hong Vinh, born in 1967 and Lieutenant Colonel Pham Duc Hoa, born in 1968, Deputy Head of Dam Ha District Police.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Police Department, thanked, acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of volunteering and writing applications for retirement before the age of service for 10 comrades. These are all cadres who have been well-trained and matured in many different working environments, with rich qualifications and practical experience. Colonel Tran Van Phuc affirmed that volunteering to retire before the age of service not only demonstrates the courage, sense of responsibility, exemplary and pioneering spirit, but also the great sacrifice and dedication of the comrades in the revolution of arranging and streamlining the apparatus of the Party, the State, and the People's Police force; at the same time, it creates an important spreading force and motivation for the Provincial Police to best complete the work of arranging and assigning cadres when implementing the new apparatus organization, as well as building the personnel plan for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. The Provincial Police Director hopes that the comrades who are retiring this time will continue to contribute their intelligence and knowledge to the cause of protecting national security while participating in the Association of Retired Police Officers in the localities.
