Group of people lending black credit at the police agency
Previously, Thu Duc City Police coordinated with Linh Trung Ward Police to patrol the area. When arriving at Kha Van Can Street, the police discovered that Anh and Duc had many suspicious signs, so they requested an inspection. Through investigation and understanding the situation, the police discovered that Anh's phone number matched the phone number of the black credit lending agency posted on walls and electric poles.
He admitted to lending money to 31 people in the form of installments, with interest rates ranging from 142%/year to 1,825%/year. This interest rate is many times higher than the lending regulations in civil transactions. The amount of illegal profit is more than 122 million VND.
Also on Kha Van Can Street, Thu Duc City Police continued to check Tuan and Chien due to suspicious signs. The authorities discovered that Chien and Tuan had phone numbers to lend money to others and collect interest.
Chien and Tuan confessed to lending money to about 36 people at interest rates ranging from 24% to 30% per month, 11.7 to 18 times higher than the regulated interest rate. To date, Tuan's illegal profit from lending money to others is more than 3.2 million VND and Chien's is more than 116 million VND.
It is known that in addition to posting flyers themselves to attract borrowers, the group also hired others to post flyers at night when there are few people to avoid detection. The case is being further investigated by Thu Duc City Police.
