Wanted director of multi-level marketing company arrested.

On July 31st, the Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) handed over Nguyen Van Si (born in 1977, residing in Kien Giang province) to the Ninh Kieu District Police ( Can Tho City) for handling according to regulations.

Previously, in May 2019, Si was the director of a company with an office in Can Tho City, but it operated illegally as a multi-level marketing scheme, mainly soliciting investments from many people.

Sĩ solicited investments from 49 people in the company's business projects, promising high interest rates, totaling over 1.1 billion VND. The company was subsequently reported for failing to pay interest to its customers.

The police are working with Si.

Subsequently, the Ninh Kieu District Police (Can Tho City) initiated criminal proceedings and issued an arrest warrant for Si on charges of "Violating regulations on multi-level marketing." Since Si was not in the area, the police issued a wanted notice in May 2024.

In October 2019, Si moved to Ho Chi Minh City to sell dietary supplements. Recently, during a patrol, the Thu Duc City Police discovered and arrested Si.
