Hai Phong City Police have officially released information about the incident in which a car driver threw a traffic police officer onto the hood and drove about 1km, which occurred in An Lao District (Hai Phong) on July 14.
The driver's behavior was assessed by Hai Phong Police as showing signs of the crime of Resisting a Person on Official Duty.
The Investigation Police Agency of An Lao District Police (Hai Phong) is coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate and resolve the case according to the provisions of law.

Regarding the incident, at around 2:40 p.m. on July 14, at km37+800 on National Highway 10, in An Lao district, Hoang Trung Hieu (39 years old, in Tien Lang, Hai Phong) drove car with license plate 15A-508.83 through a red light.
Upon discovering the incident, the Quang Trung Traffic Police Station Working Group, under the Traffic Police Department of Hai Phong Police, signaled the vehicle to stop.
Instead of complying, Hieu drove straight, causing a traffic police officer to hold onto the windshield wiper, lying on the hood of the car.
The driver then continued driving the vehicle for about 1km. When the vehicle reached Dai Thang commune, Tien Lang district, the traffic police officer jumped out and the driver continued driving the vehicle to an unknown destination.
By 12:15 on July 15, An Lao District Police and Tien Lang District Police had persuaded Hoang Trung Hieu to surrender.
