Police raid bar in Hai Phong, discover 59 people testing positive for drugs

On October 26 and 27, the Drug Crime Investigation Department (Hai Phong City Police) coordinated with functional units to conduct administrative inspections at 3 conditional business establishments. During the inspection, 59/391 people tested positive for drugs. At the same time, 4.04 grams of synthetic drugs, 1 marijuana cigarette and many other related exhibits were seized.

These businesses include: Maximus Lounge (at 02/16 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Vinh Niem Ward, Le Chan District); Fleur d'Or (at 50 Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Hong Bang District) and 191 Ho Sen (Hang Kenh Ward, Le Chan District, Hai Phong).

Currently, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Hai Phong City Police) has detained 14 people for organizing illegal use of drugs for further investigation and handling.

Previously, in Da Nang City, at 0:10 a.m. on August 10, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of Da Nang City Police coordinated with the Mobile Police force to suddenly conduct an administrative inspection of the For You Club bar (address 54 Tran Van Tru, Binh Thuan Ward, Hai Chau District).

In particular, at some tables, the police discovered many customers were using shisha and laughing gas. After a quick test with the customers present at the time of the inspection, the police discovered that 5 people tested positive for drugs.

During a quick search at the For You Club bar, authorities discovered and seized some laughing gas of unknown origin, dozens of shisha smoking kits, and many other related exhibits.
