Hanoi police inform about the case of a 17-year-old girl murdered and dismembered

At around 12:30 on October 13, the 113 Police Call Center - Hanoi City Police received a report about the discovery of a dismembered body on the bank of the Red River (in Giang Cao Village 2, Bat Trang Commune, Gia Lam District).

Immediately after receiving the report and determining the seriousness of the case, the Director of Hanoi City Police reported to the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security's professional departments and assigned the Deputy Director and head of the police investigation agency to directly go to the scene, directing the Criminal Police Department to coordinate with Gia Lam District Police and professional units to organize a crime scene examination and autopsy for investigation.

Based on the investigation results and collected evidence, the police identified the victim as Ms. HYN (born in 2006, residing in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi). Ms. HYN was killed and her body was dismembered to dispose of the evidence.

At 11:00 p.m. on October 14, professional units of the City Police in coordination with Thai Binh Provincial Police discovered and arrested suspect Ta Duy Khanh (born in 1985, hometown Kien Xuong, Thai Binh) in Thai Binh.

Currently, the City Police Director has directed the Criminal Police Department to preside over and continue to coordinate with relevant units to focus on investigating and clarifying the case for strict handling according to the law.
