Recently, Hong Phuong - niece of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh - met with the press to announce that she was kicked out of the house by Hong Loan - Vu Linh's daughter.
On June 18, Hong Loan also held a press conference to clarify the reason why she kicked Hong Phuong and her mother out of her house 49 days after her father's death.
Hong Loan said the reason for Hong Phuong and her mother to leave the house
Meritorious Artist Vu Linh's daughter said: "There are not many conflicts with Hong Phuong, but I feel unsafe when Ms. Sau and Hong Phuong's family live with me.
Before my father's 49th day, Aunt Sau brought many superstitious things home, so I found that very scary, putting a lot of pressure on the children in the house, so I had to ask Aunt Sau's family to leave the house."
Hong Loan burst into tears at the press conference.
Hong Loan also invited two cousins to testify to her words. These people confirmed that recently, Ms. Sau's personality had changed a lot, often causing trouble with everyone in the house.
Vu Linh's daughter also said that Hong Phuong did many things that disrespected her, such as allowing BH Media to film and take pictures at the funeral to broadcast without asking her opinion.
Hong Loan indignantly shared about the behavior of Hong Phuong and her mother after artist Vu Linh passed away.
Hong Loan indignantly said that the last straw that made her decide to ask Hong Phuong and her mother out of the house was because they were badmouthing Meritorious Artist Vu Linh: "What saddens me the most is that my father just passed away and they are badmouthing him. If there is anything, the family should sit together, but I cannot accept bringing my father up on social media to badmouth him.
If there is no common ground, please invite Ms. Sau's family outside to calm down, then we can sit down together later."
Hong Loan also affirmed that she did not want Hong Phuong and her children to leave empty-handed: "At first, I also proposed selling the land and buying a house for Hong Phuong, dividing it among my father's siblings. That was my original intention, but now I think it is no longer necessary.
Because there were too many conflicts with Ms. Sau's family. I myself was still normal, wanting everyone to gather and take care of my father's incense. But things didn't go my way, and Ms. Sau's family was this and that, so I didn't want to anymore."
Hong Loan confirmed that she is ready to sue.
Artist Vu Linh's daughter said she was also very sad that the dispute between her and Hong Phuong could affect her late father:
"I never wanted to get involved in any lawsuit before. But now that Ms. Sau has sued, I'm ready to go. I'm just afraid that if Dad finds out, he'll be sad and it will affect him, but I'm not afraid of anything else."
The daughter of the late artist Vu Linh said that she wanted Hong Phuong and her mother to clearly state the amount of donations and condolence money after her father's funeral. Hong Loan said that she needed to know so that she could return this money to the audience who donated, and that she would use the money from those who did not intend to receive it back for charity.
"I trusted Ms. Sau and Hong Phuong so much that I let everyone take care of the funeral and the seventh-day offerings. I didn't want the bad things in the family to be exposed to affect my father. I also wanted everything to be peaceful so that my father could rest in peace. Later, I also wanted to do business at home to take care of my own life and take care of the ancestral worship to make my father happy."
