On April 11, the mother and daughter stars attended the premiere of the musical The Outsiders at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater in Manhattan. The work was co-produced by Jolie and Vivienne was an assistant.

Ahead of the premiere, Jolie told People that her daughter inspired her to produce the play after seeing it at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego in 2023. Vivienne convinced her mother to meet author SE Hinton, 75, who wrote the novel The Outsiders at age 16.

"She tried to be with the crew as much as possible and learned a lot from Justin Levine and the entire creative team," Jolie said. She also praised her daughter for being thoughtful and serious about the stage and working hard.

Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt was born in 2008 in Nice, France, and has a twin brother, Knox Leon, and a biological sister, Shiloh, 17.
