From November 17, 2016, Quang Ngai School for Disabled Children officially decided to convert into Quang Ngai Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education. From the 2017-2018 school year, the center began operating with new functions.
The current structure of the Provincial Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education includes 35 officers, teachers, staff and workers. Organizing teaching and primary education at the center using specialized education methods for 118 disabled students with semi-boarding type, of which 47 students live and board at the center.

Educating children with disabilities is a difficult task that requires perseverance, love for the children, and the hope of achieving modest results. Through each year of teaching children both knowledge and skills, the center gains more experience and knowledge. The children with disabilities studying at the center have different mental and physical disabilities, so there must be separate lesson plans for each type of disability.
The lesson plans come with teachers. Therefore, although the center only educates 118 children, it has to have nearly 30 teachers. The teachers at the center really work hard, because this is not only teaching, but also educating, and they also devote most of their heart to taking care of the children.
Special education at the center, after all, is more difficult than teaching at specialized schools, so teachers at the center all remind themselves to try their best.
Bring joy and happiness to many families with disabled children
The teaching system at the center has been working very well for many years. The center has detected, classified, consulted and organized early intervention for disabled children in the community with 15 children of preschool age. Organized career guidance (industrial sewing, beverage processing) and supported employment (coffee sales, motorbike washing) for the disabled. Conducted statistics on the number of disabled students studying in educational institutions across the province. Supported inclusive education for disabled students studying in educational institutions in districts, towns and cities. Disabled students such as hearing impaired... of the center have the ability to learn a good job, become a professional and work to earn an income.

The principal and teachers at the center work silently with their work. Every year, after the old students graduate, they welcome new students. In this way, the center brings joy and happiness to many families with disabled children.
The total number of disabled students in the province as of early 2024 at preschool, primary and secondary education levels is 1,927. Of these, 1,501 are studying in integrated education facilities. The number of students studying at the Center for Supporting the Development of Integrated Education, Vo Hong Son Center, Tam Viet Center, and Green Dream Center is 426.
The work of integrating disabled children into the community is still ongoing. The center's educational career is a great humanitarian cause. November 20th of each year is a milestone for teachers at the center to look back on what they have done and best prepare for what they will do.
