To date, the number of visitors has recovered about 80% compared to the peak of 2019, when Hoi An welcomed a record number of visitors. Currently, in addition to domestic visitors, Bay Mau Coconut Forest welcomes visitors from Asia such as Thailand, Korea, Taiwan - China, etc.
"My facility has 100 basket boats with 100 workers working full-time. Previously, we welcomed nearly 1,000 guests/day, but now we serve about 800 guests/day," said Mr. Tai.
Mr. Tai believes that Bay Mau Coconut Forest has partly solved the problem of entertainment for tourists when coming to Hoi An. If in the past, tourists coming to Hoi An only stayed around the old town, Tra Que vegetable village, Thanh Ha pottery village, in recent years, tourists can experience the extremely attractive service of rowing basket boats to visit the river.
Cam Thanh water coconut forest used to be about 7 acres in area, so it was called Bay Mau Coconut Forest. This is the buffer zone of the Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve, with special cultural, historical and natural resource values.

Revenue from tourism and accommodation in February 2024 is estimated at 550 billion VND, an increase of 17% over the same period. Social income from tourism is estimated at 1,293 billion VND.
