Khanh Hoa players caused a surprise in the early match of round 10 when they won 1 point at Hang Day Stadium against CAHN FC. The result helped Khanh Hoa continue to maintain its position in the top 8, while CAHN missed the opportunity to narrow the gap in points with the top team Thanh Hoa.

Entering the match with a more relaxed mentality, Khanh Hoa players proactively played low, organized defensive counter-attacks, causing many difficulties for the home team. Meanwhile, although they held the ball and organized more attacks, the home players did not create many real dangerous opportunities, mainly through long-range shots against Khanh Hoa's solid defense.
In the second half, CAHN FC was still the team that had more possession and played more aggressively. This was also the half where Khanh Hoa's defense worked hard, especially goalkeeper Ngoc Cuong. The clearest opportunity came to the home team in the 53rd minute when Doan Van Hau had a tricky shot, goalkeeper Ngoc Cuong was defeated but the crossbar denied Van Hau's goal.

Towards the end of the match, the pressure from CAHN FC players increased on the opponent's field. Many opportunities were created by Gustavo, Elton, Xuan Nam, and Van Vu in front of Khanh Hoa's goal but they were either unsuccessful or were saved by goalkeeper Ngoc Cuong.
Notably, the second half had 11 minutes of extra time, but the home team's strikers still failed to take advantage of the opportunities they had, and had to accept a draw with the "rebellious guy" - the nickname of the Khanh Hoa team. The above result only helped CAHN gain 1 more point, and the second place in the table is under threat if Hanoi FC wins 3 points at Pleiku Stadium on May 31.
