The wedding of Tuyet Nhi (28 years old, from An Giang) once "caused a storm" on social networks at the end of 2022 with a dowry worth nearly 100 billion VND.
Tuyet Nhi and her husband - Samuel Lam (residing in the US) will have their wedding in December 2022.
On the wedding day, the bride from An Giang was given 1 million USD (about 23 billion VND, according to the bank exchange rate at the end of 2022) and a house on the street worth 3 million USD (about 70 billion VND, according to the bank exchange rate at the end of 2022) by her parents.

The total value of wedding gifts the couple received was more than 100 billion VND.
Tuyet Nhi and Samuel Lam's wedding was held in An Giang - the bride's hometown and in the US - where the groom's family resides.

Tuyet Nhi and Samuel Lam dated for 5 years before getting married. The couple currently lives in the US. Nhi works as an event organizer for a company, while her husband is the technology director of a corporation.

Tuyet Nhi's marriage was very smooth. Before getting married, she had lived with her husband's family for a while, so it wasn't too difficult for her to get along and adapt to the new lifestyle.
After getting married, Nhi and her husband moved out to live separately. However, she still received full attention from her in-laws. Before planning to have children, Nhi was taken by her in-laws to travel to many places and experience many cultures.
When Nhi was pregnant, her in-laws visited her every weekend and brought her lots of nutritious food. For nearly 2 years, Nhi has always been grateful for the silent support of her in-laws. Although they don't often say sweet words, they always give her little family good things.

In September 2024, Nhi gave birth to her first daughter, affectionately named Sophia. Throughout her pregnancy, a doctor closely monitored her health. When she gave birth, her husband's family prepared a private room at a prestigious hospital in the US, ensuring a safe delivery.
“Throughout my pregnancy, my in-laws took good care of me. On the day of my birth, my father-in-law called the hospital and asked the doctors to take good care of me.
A month before, my parents in Vietnam also came to the US to welcome my first daughter. For me, the care and love from both sets of parents is a special prize that has no time limit," Nhi shared.
The love Tuyet Nhi received from her husband was also complete. Samuel Lam was a thoughtful and responsible husband, always behaving gently in all situations.
After the fairytale wedding, the couple always spent every weekend dating. Nhi was taken by her husband to many places to have a comfortable mentality before entering the life of a baby.
“My husband learned a lot about how to be a father and how to prepare for childbirth... The day I went into labor, he took care of everything because he had enough knowledge. The moment the baby was born, he exclaimed, 'The baby has dimples like you', which made me both nervous and emotional.
In the following days, he took good care of his wife and children, which made me feel secure," Nhi said.
She is enjoying motherhood.
Nhi herself felt overwhelmed when she started her journey of motherhood. She was sad and disappointed when she did not have enough breast milk for her baby. However, after the doctor explained and both families encouraged her, Nhi gradually adjusted her mentality to make things better.
Now, Nhi is enjoying the joy of motherhood every day. For her, a complete and happy family is more important than anything else. She is grateful that in every important milestone of her life, her husband and both families accompany and support her.
