Series of activities in response to the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

On the morning of May 30, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises (Youth Union) coordinated with Yen Mo District Youth Union and Hoa Lu University Youth Union to organize a series of activities in response to the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Implementing the policy of "3 links" in organizing volunteer activities, the Youth Union of the Bloc coordinated with Yen Mo District Youth Union to conduct a field survey in the locality; at the same time, connected and mobilized resources from units: Ninh Binh Electricity Company Youth Union, Department of Natural Resources and Environment Youth Union, Department of Tourism Youth Union and Hoa Lu University Youth Union to build youth works and projects in Khanh Duong and Khanh Thinh communes (Yen Mo district).

Series of activities in response to the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign — Hoa Lu University delegation presented a symbolic plaque of the Mural Road project to the people of Ben hamlet, Tam Duong village (Khanh Duong commune, Yen Mo district).

At the program, the units inaugurated and handed over the youth project “Lighting up the Countryside Roads” worth 30 million VND; the 50-meter-long mural painting project worth 15 million VND; and presented 10 green, environmentally friendly trash bins worth 5 million VND to the people of Ben hamlet, Tam Duong village (Khanh Duong commune).

At the same time, the project of digitizing red addresses at the national historical site of Thap Pagoda (Khanh Thinh commune) and the provincial historical site of Trung Temple (Thach Loi village, Khanh Duong commune) was inaugurated.

Union members and youth of the units also implemented the model "People's market to reduce plastic waste", distributed leaflets on plastic waste prevention and control, and gave baskets and self-destructing plastic bags to people and traders at Khanh Duong commune market.

These are meaningful and practical volunteer activities of the Youth Union of the Block, Yen Mo District Youth Union and Hoa Lu University Youth Union in response to the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; contributing to tourism development, preserving cultural identity and perfecting the criteria for building model new rural areas in localities.
