On the afternoon of May 28, Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of the Embassy and Korean organizations and enterprises who visited, learned about, and surveyed investment, production and business in Thanh Hoa province.

Also attending the reception and working session were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Van Thi, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tien Hieu, Head of the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks.
Speaking at the reception and working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan welcomed the delegation of the Embassy and Korean organizations and enterprises who visited and worked in Thanh Hoa province. He emphasized: Thanh Hoa is a province located in the North Central region of Vietnam, with the 5th largest natural area in the country, the 3rd largest population in the country and a diverse infrastructure system with roads, railways, waterways and airways. Thanh Hoa province has Nghi Son Economic Zone, one of the 8 key coastal economic zones of Vietnam. In recent years, Thanh Hoa province has created favorable conditions for domestic and foreign investors to research, survey and invest. Of which, Korea is the leading partner in terms of the number of projects and the second in terms of total registered investment capital in Thanh Hoa province, with 45 projects and a total registered investment capital of about 1.68 billion USD, accounting for 27% of the total number of projects and 14.74% of the total FDI capital in the province.

During the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan requested the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, Korean organizations and enterprises to continue to pay attention to supporting and introducing investors to research, explore opportunities and invest in Thanh Hoa province, especially in the following areas: processing and manufacturing industry, semiconductor chip industry, auto parts production; high-tech agriculture; tourism; high-quality healthcare; infrastructure and urban development to serve the development needs of dynamic economic centers, economic zones, and industrial parks in Thanh Hoa province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated: With the motto "Investor's success is the success of Thanh Hoa province"; Thanh Hoa province commits to always accompany, listen, share, and be a reliable partner of enterprises; support and create the most favorable conditions for investors to come to research, learn about opportunities, decide to invest and conduct production and business activities in the province.

In the spirit of exchanging and sharing information that Korean businesses and investors are interested in to expand cooperation, Mr. Min Moonki, Commercial Attaché, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and Mr. Hong Sun, Chairman of the Korean Business Association in Vietnam affirmed that through the working session, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and businesses and investors will increase information, promote comprehensive investment and cooperation in all fields; at the same time, they hope that the province will continue to pay attention to supporting Korean businesses to learn about investment in Thanh Hoa.
