At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1137-QDNS/TW dated February 3, 2024 of the Party Central Committee on the Central Secretariat appointing comrade Nguyen Trong Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City to participate in the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

During the past term, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee focused on promoting Party building and rectification, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; perfecting the organizational structure, building a contingent of cadres and improving the effectiveness of the political system; consolidating and building grassroots party organizations and improving the quality of party members. The work of inspection, supervision, party discipline; the work of fighting against corruption and negativity were focused.
Every year, the city identifies specific Party building themes that are in line with the tasks and practical requirements to focus on leadership and direction. Thanks to that, Party building work is increasingly strengthened, the economy and society develop, national defense and security are ensured, and the material and spiritual life of the people is significantly improved.
During 15 years of implementing the Party Charter, Party committees, Party organizations and Party members in the entire City Party Committee have seriously grasped and implemented the Party Charter, regulations and guidelines for implementing the Party Charter. Documents have been promptly issued to specify and implement them in accordance with the practical situation. The strict implementation of the provisions of the Party Charter has ensured the Party's leadership over the State, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
