Receiving Mr. Dai Hegen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) and the group's leaders, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his pleasure in leading a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to pay an official visit to China; and informed that during the visit to Vietnam in 2023 by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, the two sides issued a "Joint Statement on continuing to deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, building a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance" with 6 "more", including promoting economic cooperation.
Mr. Dai Hoa Can thanked National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue for taking the time to meet him, and shared that CRCC Group, formerly known as the Railway Engineering Corps, is one of the strong general construction corporations, ranked 42nd in the Fortune Global 500, 3rd among the top 250 global contractors of ENR, and 12th among the top 500 enterprises in China in 2021. In the 1960s, the Railway Engineering Corps participated in building railways to help Vietnam.
Assessing that Vietnam is currently one of the group's most important markets in Asia; stating that the group is implementing a number of infrastructure projects in Vietnam, Mr. Doi Hoa Can affirmed that with the group's capacity and reputation, in the spirit of the Joint Statement on upgrading relations between the two countries established in 2023, Vietnam maintains a stable investment environment, economic development, the group continues to be ready to contribute to the development of Vietnam's infrastructure, including surveying and designing railway construction.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue thanked the CRCC Group for its tradition of helping Vietnam during the years of fighting for national liberation and reunification. Appreciating the scale, capacity and scope of the group's global operations, the National Assembly Chairman said that the Joint Statement established in 2023 has opened a period of good cooperation for the two countries. In particular, the two sides agreed to connect the standard gauge railway across the border; the Lao Cai-Hanoi-Hai Phong standard gauge railway; Dong Dang-Hanoi; Mong Cai-Ha Long-Hai Phong. This is an important infrastructure system to promote economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Accordingly, CRCC Group researches, surveys, provides consulting support, and makes proposals to be able to participate in bidding for projects in this field.

Receiving Mr. Wang Dongzhu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Communications Construction Corporation (CCCC) and the group's leaders, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue highly appreciated the scale, capacity and capability of CCCC globally in general, despite the fluctuations of the world situation.
Currently, CCCC operates in multiple sectors, in the fields of investment, construction and operation of transport infrastructure projects (seaports, bridges, roads, airports, etc.), manufacturing heavy industrial equipment (port cranes, tunnel boring machines), real estate and urban development. Regarding railway projects connecting the two countries, the National Assembly Chairman hopes that CCCC Group will provide proposals and technical support for design surveys. Vietnam welcomes and encourages prestigious enterprises representing Chinese technology to participate in bidding for road and railway projects in Vietnam.
Vietnam identifies infrastructure development as one of the pillars of development. For key national projects, the Government will submit them to the National Assembly for consideration and decision on investment policies.
The Vietnamese National Assembly completes the legal system, mechanisms, and policies, creates a favorable environment, and encourages economic sectors to participate in investing in developing transport infrastructure, including Chinese enterprises.

On the same morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Mr. La Trach Tuong, Vice President of Energy China and President of China International Energy Group and leaders of member companies.
Appreciating the group's effective and sustainable business investment activities globally in general and in Vietnam in particular, the National Assembly Chairman welcomed the group's initiative in proposing cooperation to support Vietnam in building policies and plans for power grid development, as well as the group's plan to expand investment in new fields.
The National Assembly Chairman shared that on April 1, 2024, the Prime Minister issued a Decision approving the Plan to implement the National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The goal is to strongly shift energy from fossil fuels to new energy sources and renewable energy to reduce environmental pollution, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to the goal of net zero emissions by 2050. The National Assembly Chairman requested the Group's leaders to continue to discuss and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and localities to provide detailed implementation instructions.
Emphasizing that the National Assembly is actively developing and amending relevant policies to meet the requirements of practical development, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue acknowledged the proposals on strengthening cooperation of the China National Energy Corporation in renewable energy (wind power, solar power, pumped storage hydropower, etc.) as well as developing LNG power; green development solutions, low carbon emissions; and requested the corporation to make specific proposals for cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises. Vietnam is encouraging enterprises to participate in this field.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed that the National Assembly always accompanies the Government and relevant agencies of Vietnam to create a favorable investment environment for foreign enterprises investing in Vietnam, including Chinese enterprises, to implement investment projects and do business effectively, successfully and sustainably in Vietnam.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his impression when visiting the exhibition about the formation and development process of the group and Huawei's revenue of nearly 100 billion USD, becoming one of the largest technology groups in the world, with many outstanding inventions and patents, pioneering in the fields of new technology and high technology.
The National Assembly Chairman assessed that, in more than 25 years of presence in Vietnam, Huawei has made positive contributions, contributing to promoting the digital transformation process in Vietnam and starting to participate in the process of training human resources for high-tech fields.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country, Vietnam focuses on strongly promoting the construction of a digital economy, digital citizens, and digital society. Mr. Liang Hua said that digital transformation and green transformation are development trends. Vietnam has programs to strongly promote digital transformation. Huawei is ready to contribute more to cooperation areas with Vietnam such as building 5G networks, developing human resources in information technology, etc.
