On the evening of January 5, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and many leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, and Government attended and presented the second national press award on the National Assembly and People's Council (Dien Hong award) in 2024.

Hope to receive positive support from the press

Speaking here, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man said that although there was not much time, 6 months after the first season, the organizing committee received 2,679 entries from 138 press agencies at both central and local levels with many interesting, creative and attractive entries.

According to Mr. Man, through the judging process, the organizing committee carefully selected and selected 7 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes and 38 consolation prizes to award.

He stated: Inheriting and promoting the tradition of 78 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the 15th National Assembly has continued to make efforts to innovate and improve the quality of its operations and has achieved many important and comprehensive results in terms of legislation, supreme supervision and decision-making on important national issues.

At localities, the activities of people's councils at all levels are also increasingly innovated to be more practical and effective.

Emphasizing that 2024 is of special importance, Mr. Man hopes that press agencies and journalists continue to promote a sense of responsibility, dedication, love for the profession, and trust and affection for the people's representative agencies.

Proactively propagate and mobilize comprehensively, promptly and effectively to bring the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws into life.

Contribute more and more to building a more effective and efficient National Assembly and People's Council, worthy of the trust of voters and people.

He also believes that the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels will continue to receive active support from central and local press agencies.

Journalists will have new research, discoveries and creativity to write about the National Assembly and People's Councils, continuing to affirm their role as a bridge between the "Party's will" and the "people's heart", a forum for people of all walks of life to contribute their enthusiasm and intelligence to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, creating positive spillovers, encouraging the spirit of solidarity, aspiration, self-reliance, self-reliance and creativity among the people to build a prosperous and happy country.
