On behalf of the delegation, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai reported to the National Assembly Chairman on the province's achievements in the fields of socio-economy, national defense - security, Party building, and political system building in 2022 and the first months of 2023.
Accordingly, in 2022, Ca Mau province achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields, achieving and exceeding 18/19 main targets set out in the Resolution. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, the province's socio-economic situation continued to recover and develop; the economy increased by 9.05% over the same period (ranked 2nd in the region, 5th in the country).
On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Ca Mau province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai thanked the National Assembly Chairman for his affection and attention to the people of Ca Mau province in general and the delegation of former provincial leaders in particular.
“In the coming time, Ca Mau province will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and unity within the entire Party, strive and make efforts to achieve the highest level of the set goals and tasks, in accordance with the wishes of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the National Assembly,” affirmed comrade Nguyen Tien Hai.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue expressed his joy at the results achieved by Ca Mau province in 2022 and the first months of 2023, and shared the difficulties that Ca Mau province encountered, such as the starting point of weak socio-economic infrastructure, distance from construction materials and major economic centers of the country, the quality of human resources not meeting the demand... which has affected the socio-economic development of the province.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that in the coming time, the Central Government will continue to pay attention to investing in works and projects to create conditions for Ca Mau to develop, especially investing in and upgrading the road from Ca Mau City - Ca Mau Cape and aiming to invest in the Ca Mau City - Ca Mau Cape expressway.
The National Assembly Chairman believes that the Party Committee of Ca Mau province will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, overcome all difficulties and challenges, effectively exploit potentials and advantages, and build Ca Mau to develop more and more.
