On the morning of November 2, as part of his visit to Vietnam, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and State PresidentVo Van Thuong visited the Mobile Police Command. Also attending were General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Mobile Police Command.

At the talks yesterday afternoon, the two leaders acknowledged that the establishment and effective operation of the Cavalry Mobile Police Group under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security, is vivid evidence of the close and effective cooperation between Vietnam and Mongolia.

As one of the youngest units of the People's Public Security Force, the Cavalry Mobile Police Regiment has participated in many major activities of the country, serving the people. After 3 years of formation and development, today theCavalry Mobile Police Regiment has been professionalizing and modernizing day by day.

President Vo Van Thuong and President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh listened to the unit introduce the foals born at the unit and continued to be recruited into the training squad.

The two leaders were impressed that after only 3 years, the soldiers had trained service horses with discipline, familiarity with sounds, explosions, smoke, fire, and coordinated with the soldiers to skillfully perform combat skills.

Delegates watched a performance combining many difficult techniques such as: Controlling horses to overcome obstacles, complex terrain, areas with explosions, smoke and fire; cavalry soldiers controlling horses to gallop, combining shooting AK submachine guns with 2 hands; Mobile police performing qigong....

The Mounted Mobile Police model was established by the Ministry of Public Security based on learning and exchanging experiences with many countries around the world, and is used for many purposes, mainly related to ensuring security and maintaining social order and safety. Mongolian partners have supported purebred, healthy horses, sent experts to train and coach, contributing to laying the first bricks in building the Mounted Mobile Police force.
