After the MV “Toi khong lam em”, Thanh Dat continued to release his next “brainchild” called “Lồ lang duyên em”. This is a joint project between PKA Entertainment Company and VMG Media Joint Stock Company, and is also a product that marks the maturity of the male singer in his career.
“Lồ lang duyên em” is still a familiar lyrical pop ballad by Dong Thien Duc, who wrote for Thanh Dat the hit song “Ngay mai nguoi ta la chong”.
Through the sharing of the GenZ male singer, he and musician Dong Thien Duc have a rather close relationship. It is not a close bond in life but an understanding in music. It seems that each composition Dong Thien Duc brings to him is a "tailor-made" and if it is not Thanh Dat, it is difficult for it to be anyone else.
The same thing happened with “Lợ Làng Duyên Em” this time, just by listening to the melody, Thanh Dat immediately knew that this song belonged to him. When taking the time to read and understand the lyrics, he was even more impressed with the last two lines of the chorus: “ Green hair in a golden bun, a fateful love between a phoenix and a loan, green hair in a bun, a missed fate between a phoenix and a loan ”.
It was the meticulousness and uniqueness of the language the musician used in the song that made VMG Company and Thanh Dat's team spend a lot of time coming up with a script that was most suitable and fitting for Lo lang duyen em.
If practicing and recording a song within 3-4 days was never difficult for Thanh Dat, the process of making the MV "Lợ Làng Duyên Em" was not easy, because acting is not the male singer's forte.
However, Thanh Dat still practiced very hard and completed the scenes to the fullest. He also did a very good job of interacting and chatting with his co-stars in the MV.
The singer's manager, Mr. Le Ka, said: " We always aim to make each product better and more upgraded than the previous one. We hope to be able to exploit Dat's abilities even more through each music product ."
To match the MV's concept, the crew invited the hot tiktoker twins - Thao Nhi and Hieu Nhi to participate in the MV. For netizens, Thao Nhi and Hieu Nhi are not only two pretty girls but also have impressive singing and acting abilities.
On their personal pages, the twins receive a lot of followers and any videos they produce are well received by viewers.
In “Lợ Làng Duyên Em”, the two’s overwhelming similarity will cause the male lead to make wrong moves in love and suffer emotional damage. The love triangle between them will certainly leave many regrets for the audience.
Singer Thanh Dat confessed that he was quite confused when working with the twins: “ I felt quite pressured when working with two girls. The three of us had never known each other before, so in the first few scenes, I was very nervous. It took me half a day of contact and more conversation to relieve the burden and encourage myself to try harder. Honestly, until now, I still can't tell who is the older sister and who is the younger sister .”
Because they had never worked together before, filming the MV together was quite difficult. According to the male singer, the entire MV was filmed in just 23 hours. Therefore, when filming the last scene - a scene with a lot of emotional content and dialogue with the female co-star - Thanh Dat had to do it 6 or 7 times before the director agreed.
It is known that the MV “Lợ Làng Duyên Em” was filmed in the fishing village of Phước Tỉnh, Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu. Because the male singer’s schedule was so busy, the entire crew had to rush to complete it within 1 day. The large amount of work, combined with the hot weather, made the crew members quite tired.
However, everyone was very professional and worked to the best of their ability. Despite the tight deadline, the MV was still completed on time to be released on December 6. Singer Thanh Dat hopes that the new product will help him conquer demanding music lovers.
