During his lifetime, the designer and founder of the eponymous brand Christian Dior had a great affection for dogs. Among the dogs he raised, Bobby was a special dog.

Because he loved Bobby so much, designer Christian Dior used his pet's name to name a custom-made suit.

Boldly express the brand's mark
More than just a name, Dior Bobby is also a homage to the brand's history from designer Maria Grazia Chiuri.
She explains the origins of the Bobby bag: "My background is in accessory design. Accessories are still a fundamental part of the projects I do. I am particularly interested in an object that is very important to every woman's life: the handbag - a loyal companion.
When I focused on the concept of loyalty, I decided that the bag I designed - a round, crescent-shaped bag with a comfortable shoulder strap - was an example of craftsmanship, while also being a loyal companion in everyday life.
So I named the handbag after Bobby - Mr. Christian Dior's pet dog".

Dior Bobby is designed in hobo style.
The term “hobo” was originally used to describe immigrant workers in the United States in the late 19th century. They were mostly homeless, wandering people, often carrying their belongings in backpacks. This backpack image led to the creation of the hobo bag, the first bag appearing in 1936.
Through many ups and downs, the hobo bag continues to thrive in the modern fashion scene.
The hobo bag is characterized by its curved shape that forms a crescent shape. This is clearly shown in the Dior Bobby. The bottom of the bag is delicately curved, enhancing the elegant, gentle beauty every time you carry it.
The front of the bag is decorated with the brand's initials "CD", along with an elegant belt buckle.

The Bobby bag is made from box calfskin, in sizes "medium" and "large" priced at $3,800 and $4,400 respectively. In addition to the bag models with straps made of the same material, the fashion house also launched a number of other bag models equipped with straps with different materials, colors and patterns to create highlights when coordinating outfits.
The Bobby bag has been updated with an "East-West" version (referring to the horizontally elongated handbags), priced at $3,350 (VND 84.8 million) for both grained calfskin and Jacquard fabric versions with Dior Oblique pattern.
