Sao Do Ward is the only locality in Chi Linh City that is not allowed to raise livestock in the entire ward because this is an inner-city area with no more agricultural land.
The remaining 13 wards are not allowed to raise livestock in 93 areas due to not meeting the conditions. Of these, Van An ward has the most with 15 areas; Cong Hoa ward has 12 areas; Tan Dan ward has the least with 1 Tu Giang residential area.
Through screening, Chi Linh City has 28 households raising livestock with a total area of over 10,800 m2 in areas that are not qualified for raising livestock. These areas currently have 291 pigs, 14,600 poultry, 57 buffaloes, cows... Cong Hoa Ward has the most households in areas not allowed to raise livestock with 13/28 households, accounting for 46.4% of the households in areas not allowed to raise livestock in Chi Linh City.
On November 14, the People's Council of Hai Duong province passed a Resolution stipulating areas within the inner city of cities, towns, townships, and residential areas where livestock farming is not allowed, and support policies when relocating livestock farms out of areas where livestock farming is not allowed in Hai Duong province. The regulation takes effect from November 24.
