On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7 (1954 - 2024), this morning, May 4, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan visited and presented gifts to war veterans and relatives of soldiers who participated in the battle and served in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign currently living in Quang Tri town, including: Mr. Nguyen Hien, in Quarter 6, Ward 3; relatives of Mr. Pham Ly Chanh, in Quarter 1, Ward 1; Mr. Nguyen Huy Triem and Mr. Ngo Xuan Hoan, both in Nhu Le village, Hai Le commune.

At the places visited, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan kindly visited, encouraged, and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and merits of soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly participated in fighting and serving in the resistance war against French colonialism, contributing with the whole country to the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
